CHECK

The check is essential to understand what requirements the product should ultimately cater to and what problems it should resolve. The check, which is a product brief is created from the design insights and is approved by the client. The product brief becomes the criterion for creating ideas and evaluating the concepts.

The product that we are designing will be catering people of different age groups and all sections of society and hence needs to take into account all the problems they face. After analysing all the insights we reached to the conclusion that the final product should have the following features:

• User Friendly: The product should be user friendly and comfortable to use for all age groups(especially older adults).

• Portable: The product should be easy to carry and move. 

• Lightweight: The product should be of minimal weight and hence easy to carry for older adults also.

• Foldable: The product should be easy to fold, wrap so that it can be put in backpacks, travel bags etc. while travelling.

• Durable: The product should be durable and also stain resistant.

• Affordable: The product will be catering to all sections of society and hence should be affordable for every person who reads newspapers.

Keeping all the above points in mind we will proceed with the conception of our model.
